SBS2003 cannot see Adaptec Raid Controller

I have a new Proliant ML110 G2 server with two SATA drives configured using the onboard RAID controller as RAID1 Mirror.

I created a floppy disk with the Driver on it that I have downloaded from the HP website (There is a problem with the one supplied on the CD apparently)

When I get to the setup stage that asks for the storage driver it recognises the driver as "Adaptec Raid Controller" but when the setup of SBS2003 continues I get a message that there are no hard disks installed and that setup cannot continue.

Did you press F6 to install the storage driver during setup?

Yes I did.

The Windows setup starts. I hit F6 and it then finds the driver on the floppy drive. I select the driver which it detects as "Adaptec Raid Controller" and the setup continues but shortly afterwards it displays a message that there is no hard disk present in the system and the setup must terminate.

I do wish that HP would be consistent with their support documents.

I downloaded this driver which has a later date than the one you gave me.

Tony - out of curiosity how are you loading the driver from floppy disk ? Last time I just fitted a floppy drive but it's a fiddle I could do without. This information that says you can't use a flash drive.
