SCO 5.0.7 on ML570 crashes after EFS install.
Hello,
We have a ML570 G2 (Dual Xeon 2.0Ghz) machine and running Openserver 5.0.7 with SMP.
Also the SmartArry 5404 installed fine on default. (ciss controller)
Everything runs fine, until I installed EFS, latest available today.
The machine crashes, atleast becomes very, very slow... no key response in minutes, and gives the folowing error:
ciss: controller heart beat stopped , trying to reset
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

I have the same problems with the version 5.60A , you need to install only the version 5.58b
If you have a board RILOE II, you must retire this board and your computer will run .

Re: SCO 5.0.7 on ML570 crashes after EFS install.
Hello!
Thanks for reply.
At first I had installed EFS 5.58B. That one gave the CISS: heart beat error.
Therefore I searched for a newer one, and the latest gave the same error.
So for me I guess 5.58B is not the solution.
I also have no RIOLE II board installed.
Whatelse could be wrong?
Thanks again!
