SCO OSR, removing wellness driver
With earlier versions of the Compaq EFS, it was possible to remove the wellness monitors from the kernel, which allowed for an administrator to successfully create an emergency boot diskette.
With the re-badging to HP, it appears as if the utility to remove the wellness driver has also been removed. As the wellness driver adds over 1MB of data to the kernel, this will no longer allow the kernel to fit on a 1.44MB floppy.
Is there any way to remove the wellness monitor (without removing the entire EFS) to allow the building of emergency boot diskette's ?
