Re: SCO OpenServer PANIC message on Netserver LH3
I am not too good at SCO th error you are refering to is relevent to sco only.
Just to validate the hdd and raid status use Ctrl + M option at boot that will able to help you with raid problems.
Regards,
Prashant S.

Re: SCO OpenServer PANIC message on Netserver LH3
I had a feeling it had to be a termination issue from what I had read on the SCO site previously, and I tried the following:
Changed the SCSI channel from A to B, same error.
Changed the SCSI cable (terminated), same error.
Changed from 1 server to another (in case hot swap backplane faulty), same error.
And this is where I am stuck for now... Please advise.

Re: SCO OpenServer PANIC message on Netserver LH3
if I am right
teminator resides in,
*) Contoller side
*) Cable
*) HDD side.
u check one by one, and also u should have only one, not with the combinations.
Check in RAID Adapter - here your controller is RAID card not ur scsi adapter....
If not atlast replace ur raid card, and u may confirm (Ensure id/slots are in proper place when u connect in different place, since misplacing may cause raid volume problem)

Re: SCO OpenServer PANIC message on Netserver LH3
If the error is consistant across multiple adapters (IE from the internal Netraid to another SCSI adapter) then I would be suspect of the drive itself....
I forget the exact sco command but try:
boot -single
then try fsck on the volume....
or try
boot -scsiprobe (or -probe I forget) and then reboot...
