SCSI-2 on Proliant ML330 Integrated SCSI Controller?

Does a Proliant ML330 G3 support SCSI-2 (DVD-RAM) with Integrated SCSI Controller.

I have bought a Smart Array 641 for the HDD and am hoping the integrated SCSI controller will support SCSI-2 Panasonic LFD-201 DVD-RAM drives. However the spec sheet indicates that it is LVD only, which my limited knowledge of SCSI suggests may be a problem for my DVD-RAMs

Can anyone advise ?

The internal SCSI controller should have no trouble with this DVD Drive. Depending on the cable you use, you may need to set termination on the drive. Be sure the drive SCSI ID (ID3 by default) does not conflict with any other device on the chain.
