SCSI Disk Not recognized

I have a HP proliant ML 370 server G3 with 3 36 GB SCSI hdd drives. i have tried to add another 72 SCSI hdd too increase space but the disk is not being seen anywhere- either computer management or device manager. i am running windows 2003 server

Hello Francis,

Is there a smart array controller on the server and are the disks connected to the controller?

yes there is a Smart array controller and the disks are connected to it

Assuming you want to create a new array/logical volume,

1.Launch Array Configuration Utility.
2.Select the new disk and create array/logical volume.

You cannot extend a system volume.
