SCSI Driver on ML370 G2 - Adaptec???

I've got a problem in that an HP Surestore 40 DAT drive connected to the onboard SCSI drive on an Proliant ML370 G2 Is only backing up 30.1G then giving up.

I have checked the SCSI driver for the on board SCSI and it says Adaptec 19160 PCI ...
There is no Adaptec installed in the server and when I try to install the Compaq SCSI driver it says the software is installed but not required. I have checked other similair servers and they all have Compaq SCSI as the on board SCSI drivers, Why have I got Adaptec 19160 PCI when there isn't one installed, and why can't I install the compaq drivers,

Please help.

apply 6.40 support pack - this will update the drivers i believe
