SCSI Error

All,
Am experiencing a SCSI Controller message when this server goes through its boot process. We have a RAID 3200 controller in the server which is checked first during the boot with no problems. After that there is a long pause while checking for SCSI devices. Eventually you see a message from the SCSI Controller, system board indicating ID0- Failed, ID2 -Failed ... ID15 - Failed. This server appears to still be operating fine just taking very long to boot. Any idea?

Re: SCSI Error

I had the exact same problems as you do. I took my server apart (removed both cages) and was looking for switch settings when I came across your posting. In the time it took me to search the forum and write to etch support, something reset on the system board. I re-asembled the server and every thing worked fine... Dave

Re: SCSI Error

Do you have any drives attached to that controller? If not, might just double-check the internal terminator cable (short cable with only one connector).
