SCSI cabling problem (DL380 with SA641)
I am having problem when trying to connect the SCSI backplane to SA641 in DL380. There is almost no space for the scsi cable to go pass the riser cage. Does anyone have suggestion for the best way to route the scsi cable? Thanks.

Re: SCSI cabling problem (DL380 with SA641)
I did this in the last couple of days - I took out the riser cage & put the card in the bottom pci slot (the non-hot-swappable one) - then ran the cable along the bottom corner - alongside another thinner cable. I put the cage back in , which kind of traps the scsi cable but doesnt snag it ... it all fitted in ok.

Re: SCSI cabling problem (DL380 with SA641)
I tried it that way too, but the cable is a bit too thick to fit under the cage, so I am a bit uncomfortable forcing the cage on top of the cable. Btw, you are using the black round scsi cable that come with DL380, right?
