SCSI drive missing in Array on a non existing ID

Hi,
Reading through your problems I've also have come across this missing ID 6 drive where you replace the failed drive but it wont rebuild. My problem was on a massive scale as it was on a MSA1000 that had 2 attached msa30 disk shelves. Each time i re-seated and rebooted the hard drives( as HP recommend to do) i kept loosing 1 or 2 drives in the process and the problem got worse. I think you have a corrupt RIS table and the only solution to this backup> delete >recreate> restore
