SCSI errors on 8GB DL760 with /3GB and /PAE in Boot.ini

We upgraded scsi adpu driver from 510 to 6.1.640 and now the backups work but the restores are getting controller error, Event id 11 with return code disp. 10 = x'c1005050'. In the past we needed to add an entry in the reg. of MaximumSGList : REG_DWORD : 0x10. The backup was generated on a 8GB 8500 with SGList = 10. We have tried this on 2 different servers with the same result. Any Ideas?
