SCSI message during startup

I have next error in system event log during startup Node2:
Source: cpqarry2 Error ID 15.
The device, \Device\Scsi\cpqarry21, is not ready for access yet.
It's internal SCSI: Compaq Integrated SCSI Array Controller.
Driver: spqarray2.sys v.5.4
After startud SCSI works correctly. What is reason for this error ?

Re: SCSI message during startup

I get that error as well. It doesn't seem to have a lasting effect, so i just assumed it was something a bit like pinging something waiting for a response, and in this case the array timed out??

Re: SCSI message during startup

Hi

I receive the exact same error message "The device, \Device\Scsi\cpqarry21, is not ready for access yet." It's true that everything seems to work just fine on the disks and the Integrated management log doesn't report anything. But there must be some reason for this error to occur.......

Re: SCSI message during startup

Hi

I have the same problem (on both DL380's & 360's). It seems to be correct that no longterm occur due to the error message. But why do I get the error message and how do I get ensure that the error message does not occur after Bootup of my Windows 2000 system, since I pride myself that when servers I've built bootup there should be no (that zero) errors to worry about & not a couple of error not to worry about.

Any help much appreciated.
