SCSI problem...

We have ML110.

This message: This device has been validated to run at 80MB/s and should support 320 MB/s (**) when the operating system is loaded.

is appearing before. but now it doesn't and our scsi disk is running very slow even with the correct and latest drivers installed on win2k3. what could be the problem?

Re: SCSI problem...

Hi Vernon,

The message comes from the LSI logic controller BIOS according to this link but it doesn't explain why your disks are now running slower with the driver loaded.

Re: SCSI problem...

I would say the drive is bad. Have you tried an appropiate drive test? Seatools, SCSIMax, IBM/Hitachi test software?
