SFP adapter 10 Gbits - 568FLR-MMSFP+ / How to connect ?

Hi everybody,

I have purchased an 10 Gb Eth SFP+ adapter card for my HPE Proliant DL380 Gen9 server. However, when I opened the boxe, there was indeed a 10 Gb SFP+ adapter, but it is not a PCI or PCIe connector (see the attached pictures).

Could you please help me to identify if this card can be used in a DL380 Gen8 or Gen9 server and if yes, where and how to connect it on the motherboard ?

Thank you !

Re: SFP adapter 10 Gbits - 568FLR-MMSFP+ / How to connect ?

This device appears to be an HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 568FLR-SFP+ Media Module Adapter 866467-B21 .  This device is listed for an HPE ProLiant XL170r /  XL190r Gen10 Server not a ProLiant DL380 Gen9. Plese refer to the ProLiant DL380 Gen9 Quickspec for supported network adapters. Starting at page 37 https://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/getdocument.aspx?docname=c04375627
