SFP+ labeled "not for resale" in HP 82E HBA Bundle AJ763B ??

we have bought an HP 82E bundle (Emulex dual port HBA, large and small bracket, documentation and two HP AJ718A SFP+) in a sealed HP box with HP label on it.

When we opened the box everything was fine, just the plastic boxes of the SPP+ were labeled "not for resale".

Is this normal, to prevent unbundeling or how did they get into the sealed box. Nothing else in the box had this label nor the box itself.

here are two pictures of the litte plastic box with the label on it. There were no such labels on any other part of the bundele and even not on the sealed HP Box.

I'd guess they would be labeled as such because they are part of a bundle.

I just saw the pictures, in fact it should be an error that you receive a packet marked "Not for Resale" because it is for  internal HP Labs.

In any case, there is no problem as long as you have the right parts numbers.

That sounds reasonable. But I wonder how these SFPs made it into a sealed HP box with no "not for resale" on any other part within the box or the box itself.

it is normal that there is a label "Not For Sale" on a party because it is supposed to remained internal, error, and it is put in the box :)

parts coming into the labs are only labeled not for resale when they are prototype/beta units.  Standard shipping parts/systems/options come out of the same stock that goes to customers.  Those SFP's have been shipping for some time. I still say they are labeled that way because they are packaged within a bundle
