SFTP and Telnet very slow

Hi All,

I have been working with a sftp site which is in a WAN network, the sftp was working fine from HP DL 386 Gen 9 server, from last one week am not able to connect to the sftp site in a usual way, it is taking abnormal delay in connecting the site, whereas i am able to connect to the same site from another LAN Ip without any issues. I have checked the firewall and switch also, but no issues found.

Can any one suggest what could be possible issue give a resolution.

Hi Nivas,

Have you checked the ping response for packet loss?

Have you tried TRACERT to find out where a packet stopped on the network?

Were there any changes done after which issue started appearing?

Have you check by restarting network services or HP DL380 Gen9 server to restore the connectivity?
