SL2x170z G6 - mixing DIMM sizes?
We have a couple of SL2x170z G6 servers that came with 8x 4GB DIMM modules each for a total of 32 GB per server (each server has 16 DIMM slots).
We would like to increase memory per server and were thinking about adding additional 8x 8GB DIMMs to each server for a total of 96 GB per server, but the docs don't say if mixing DIMM sizes is possible or not.
Should this work?
