SLES10 + OES2 and NSS on disk greater then 2 TB
I have a Proliant DL180G5 with 8 times 750 GB SATA disk and a Smart Array P400 controller. We have installes Sles 10 and OES2 on it and have defined 2 disks (2x750GB mirror for the system and 6x750 in raid6). I want to make a NSS volume on the raid disk and that isn't possible. I get a error that there isn't a partition to make the nss pool on. Someone told me that a I need to enable the "auto carving" in the controller but I cannot find it. When I made teh second disk 750 GB there is no problem.
Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Marcel de Jager
