SLOT 0 Smart Array 6i Controller ERROR REPORT after replacing failed disk

After replacing failed disk 20 hours later, I run Array Diagnostic Utility, and found the status is Recovering but not finished.

How can I resolve this issue?
The attached file is the report for reference.

Dear mikap,

I don't have the latest firmware on the RAID controller.
Where can I get it?

Checked the ADU report. It shows its till rebuilding..... The recovery process will depend on the raid configured and the amount of data. For 1Gb the rebuild will take around 15 minutes....

I suggest you to wait for some time till rebuild completes....

Dear Proliant,

Two days passed, but the status is still Recovering, and the error is not changed.

Re: SLOT 0 Smart Array 6i Controller ERROR REPORT after replacing failed disk

I downloaded the latest firmware of RAID controller from the following URL:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=329290&prodSeriesId=426654&swItem=MTX-5ce6254771904e8982335ff710&prodNameId=426655&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=4&idx=0

Now, I want to update the firmware and restart the server, but what I confused is the disk is resvovering status now...

If I update it and restart the OS, is there any problem?

Re: SLOT 0 Smart Array 6i Controller ERROR REPORT after replacing failed disk

Dear All,
error before:
----------------------------------------
SLOT 0 Smart Array 6i Controller ERROR REPORT:

Logical drive 1 status = Recovering (rebuilding data on a replaced drive)
SCSI Port 2 Drive ID 1 is not stamped for monitoring
----------------------------------------

Action:
update firmware to latest version(2.84).
After rebooting, I found the disk status is changed from recovering to ok now.

error now:
========================================
SLOT 0 Smart Array 6i Controller ERROR REPORT:

SCSI Port 2 Drive ID 1 is not stamped for monitoring
========================================

The attachment file is the new ADU report, you can take it as reference.

Q:
How can I fix the error now?

Re: SLOT 0 Smart Array 6i Controller ERROR REPORT after replacing failed disk

I guess maybe the reason is the two disks are not the same brand...

Is there anyone could help me?
