SNMP Device Connection

Dear Support,

My network have some server, other then Compaq
i am running Insight Manager 7 on my Compaq proliant DL380 G2
with windows 2000 advanced server, and there is other Net server as:IBM Server that i want to monitor it with the Insight Manager 7,

my question is:
can i run the Insight Manager 7 and connect it to the IBM server, did i need to install any Compaq agent on the IBM server?

how can i use the SNMP Device to connecting the other server on my network, how it can be made?
