SNMP TRAP 6034

Hi, I'm getting following errors sequence every 3-4 hours on my DL180G6 server with one power supply.

1) Warrning
[SNMP TRAP: 6034 in CPQHLTH.MIB]
System Information Agent: Health: Fault Tolerant Power Supply Removed. A hot-plug fault tolerant power supply has been removed from the system.
Chassis: '0'; Bay: '1'

2) Error after 10 seconds
CimNotify ID:5
Server Agents: Power Supply Removed

3) Error after one minute
CimNotify ID:5
Server Agents: Power Supply Inserted

4) Error after 10 seconds
CimNotify ID:5
Server Agents: Power Supply OK

What could be causing the problem ?

Re: SNMP TRAP 6034

Hi, thanks for replay.
First thing it's on DL160G6 not DL180G6 as I posted.

I think I'm using latest bios, version control agent shows green indicator with following details:
Online ROM Flash Component for Windows - HP ProLiant DL160 G6 Servers Version 2009.10.15

Re: SNMP TRAP 6034

ok grzegorzk
select your OS version
get the latest
driver and firmware for these

HP ProLiant 100-Series Management Controller Driver for Windows 2003/2008

and this too
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3884343&prodNameId=3884344&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-997e5b414b894981a8a14baa63

NOTE try to avoid 460 psu and if you have 2 psu they should be same wattage

i prefer the other psus they have less issues you can pick one from here http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/13247_na/13247_na.html#Power%20Specifications

enjoy and good luck

Re: SNMP TRAP 6034

Hi Mark,
my os is Win2008 SBS x64, and there is one 750 psu installed.
I think all drivers are up to date, I will check management firmware as you advised, currently I have only remote access to this machine.
Maybe you know where can I check this using Windows ?
I have following information from Management Homepage - Firmware Version Information:
Management Processor Firmware (Active) 4.4
System ROM Firmware-O33 (Active) 2009.10.15
Array Controller Firmware 1.18

Regards,
Grzegorz
