SNMP for HP ProLiant DL320s

Hello

We have quite a few DL320s servers. All run linux rhel4.

What we want to have is additional montoring of hard disks, means we want to know if harddisk is failing or if there any problems with it. Having snmpd configured there would allow to see utilization of logical disks in a system and things like this. Very useful we're looking for something different.

 

Could you navigate me what is a proper way to do this?

If there a way how to get it via snmp get or we have to have snmp traps on place?
