SP19619 for ML370 creates bootable floppy disks, do I have to enable the override floppy on SW1?

after creating the bootable floppies from SP19619, compaq system configuration utility, I try and boot up and I still get this hanging flashing cursor in the upper left hand corner. I'm really stuck here and don't know what else to do, I've tried different dip-switch settings to no avail. Is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction for getting this machine to either 1) recognize the system config utilites 2) get into the BIOS to see what's going on in there, or 3) know how to get it to recognize boot media? Thank you.

Hello Louis,
I remember I had given you the settings for SW2 to reset the configuration of your system. Have you put back the dip switches to their original position?? If not then you need to do that and then boot with the Smart Start CD and run system configuration. If you are running System configuration with the diskettes then just follow the onscreen instructions. It's normal to get some error codes once your clear the nvram which you did by resetting the dip switches. Please let me know as to how you make out. If you can call our support line then do so by dialing 1-800-652-6672.
