SPP 2014.02 - Broadcom 1Gb network driver; Problem with Trendmicro Officescan (RealTimeScan Service)
Hi community,
during some installation tests with the latest SPP (2014.02) from HP, we found a problem after the installation of the HP network driver -> HP Broadcom 1Gb multifunction drivers for Windows Server x64 Editions 7.8.50.0 (cp021772.exe)
In our environment, we are using the Trend Micro OfficeScan (10.5.2328) for the antivirus protection. After the installation of the SPP network driver, the RealTimeScan Service is not starting anymore and the taskbar icon for trendmicro changed to red (Attachment).
If I do a downgrade to -> HP Broadcom 1Gb multifuntion drivers for Windows Server x64 Editions 7.8.6.0 (cp018873.exe) the taskbar icon for trendmicro changed to blue and der RealTimeScan Service is up and running.
For the installation tests, we are using a DL380 G6 Server with Windows Server 2008 R2.
Does someone have similar problems with antivirus software?

We can reproduce this problem, too.
And so, we are not able to upgrade to the last SPP Version 2014.02, because we are only install full SPP versions on all of our 300 servers. Going on with 2013.09....
