SPP 2014.02 on DL380 G6 problem
I installed SPP 2014.02 on a DL380 G6 running Windows 2008 R2.
It installed successfully. After reboot we got a BSOD.
BSOD: NDIS.sys stop code 0xD1
This indicates a problem with the network drivers. The upgrade was to version 7.8.50.0 (B) (18 Feb 2014)
Last year we installed spp 2013.09 on this server, If I remember correctly the NIC driver upgrade failed then.
So the drivers were still at version 4.x (the Microsoft provided drivers)
Rebooting in Safe mode or Last known good configuration still resuts in BSOD. I think we will have to restore this server.
Did anyone else experience problems when installing this broadcom driver upgrade using spp?

Re: SPP 2014.02 on DL380 G6 problem
I have the same issue and I have some informations from HP support
Actually there is a problem with the SPP 2014.02 on DL380G6 and G7 with Windows 2008R2.
The response team support, it's just that the cp installation bug but not the driver. HP works for this.
After you have recovery your server, you must remove the cp021772.exe from the kit and apply SPP with hpsum.
Then you need to extract the drivers from cp021772.exe and apply with graphical update driver or with command line:
pnputil -i -a bxnd.inf
pnputil -i -a bxvbd.inf
...
And after all works..
