I am trying to perform "Offline" SPP deployment through HPSIM.
According from the documents in HPSIM, this upgrade type boots the system into Embedded Smart Start, and updates can be applied without an operating system being installed on the target system.
When we use 2014.02.0(B), it worked.
However this time we selected 2014.09.0, then we cannot select "Offline" method.
Is there any differences between the two SPPs?

SolutionHi,
Please check if 2014.09.0 (9 Sep 2014) is supported on the server you are trying to deploy.
This release no longer supports ProLiant G5 and earlier platforms.
Also make sure the ISO file is proper, HP recommends you run MD5 Checksum on the Zip file and/or ISO image prior to burning the DVD.
Thank You!
I am a HP employee.

Re: SPP 2014.09.0 does not suppoert Offline SPP deployment?
Thank you for your reply. You are correct.
I checked VCRM, and I found 2014.09.0 was detected as "Invalid Support Packs" even it was selectable on HPSIM console.
Therefore, I recreated the repository, run "rescan repository & rebuild catalog", then it fixed the problem.
Now I can select "Offline" upgrade from 2014.09.0.
