SSD drives on ProLiant servers
Hi,
I have decided to a single SSD drive to some of my DL380 servers. There are g5, g6, and g7 servers among them. A colleague told me that I need to install them in pairs and I can not install a single SSD on a server.
Just wanted to check if this is true.

Re: SSD drives on ProLiant servers
Hi,
why don't you ask why would you need to do it in pairs?
As far as I can see it you could just create one array with one physical drive in it.
There might however be other limitations, such as firmware or maybe some controllers can't handle SSD drives.
