SYSTEM CRASH Please Help!

I reacently got a Prosignia 300 from a friend, and am having may dificulties.
At first when I booted up it would only display "Li" in the top corner of the screen. I downloaded and tried the following Software Packages in this order:
Compaq System Erase Utility - worked
Compaq System Configuration Utility - Locks up after "press anykey"
Systems ROMPaq Diskette for SystemPro/XL, ProSignia (386E5), ProSignia (E8), ProSignia VS, and ProSignia 200/300/500 Servers - Installed
Compaq System Configuration Utility - Locks up after "press anykey"

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
