SamrtArray P411 and 6G drives in 3G mode

I have DL360 G6 with connected MSA70 via SA P411.
All firmware, except firmware for disks, are up to date (server booted with Firmware DVD 9.10(B) and all components are flashed).

Physical Drive
Status OK
Drive Configuration Type Data
Size 146.8 GB
Drive Type SAS
Model HP EG0146FAWHU
Serial Number 6SD0C84V0000B0447112
Firmware Version HPDD
Rotational Speed 10K
PHY Count 2
Transfer Speed PHY 1: 3.0GBPS, PHY 2: Unknown

I can't find new firmware for EG0146FAWHU...

What I missed in setup?

p.s. ADU report attached.

Re: SamrtArray P411 and 6G drives in 3G mode

Verify the expander backplane firmware and hardware versions. Simply saying everything has been updated isn't verifying the actual revisions.

Check/post the SAS Expander Backplane version
Check/post the iLO verison

Is the MSA70 a dual domain configuration?

Re: SamrtArray P411 and 6G drives in 3G mode

FYI: Your P411 F/W is not up to date!

There's a new critical Firmware update v3.50 that you should install:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-c56108804d8543c2b248da3e43

So chances are the backplane may not be either. The Hardware Exp. Backplane must support 6GB speeds.

Thanks for reply!
Firmware for SamrtArray P411 succesfully updated to version 3.50.
I think I have single domain configuration (server is connected to the MSA70 with single cable)... I need dual domain for 6G?

No, but you need to post the iLO and backplane firmware revisions.
