Sata drives in SATA 5 and SATA 6

Sata drives in SATA 5 and SATA 6

Hello.
I have a ML 310 G5 with four SATA hard drives and i want install new sata hard disk. Server only have two free sata connectors. Manual says this connectors are for tape drive sata and optical unit.
It's possible install a sata hard disk on this connectors ?

Hi iprezme,

ML 310 G5 supports Up to 4: Hot plug SAS or SATA hard drives.

It is not possible to install AS or SATA hard drives on tape drive sata or optical unit connectors. For comfirmation, check the below link:
