Scsi Bus faults on Bl20p's
I am running firmware 2.58 mostly on the controllers. I am thinking faulty back planes?
Anyone? Thanks

Re: Scsi Bus faults on Bl20p's
maybe you're right. Log a call at HP for that problem. Is the fault led on the disks static on or is it blinking? SCSI errors in the event log (if you are running Windows)?
Regards,
Patrick

You could check and update the latest firmware from the link below
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/index.html
and as suggested by Patrick, log a call with HP so that the fault (if there is any) could be diagnosed

Re: Scsi Bus faults on Bl20p's
lit only on one disk the red fault led or is it on all disks at the controller on? After a reboot is the disk available again? I think the controller is broken. Log a call HP. A few weeks ago I got a BL20p G3. After a reboot the controller didn't found any disks - The controller was broken. :(
