Scsi Controller failure

I have recently installed a 64bit/64mhz dual channel controller, "Ultra3 ALT OS SCSI HBA". This card is not intalling correctly or I have misconfigured it. The errors while the system scans for Scsi devices is :
1. 39160 - Scsi Controller failure to whichever Channel I plug in the Tape Library - Compaq TL891 minilibrary.

1 .the Scsi Bios not installed (this i can understand since the boot controller is embedded.) any way to remove the error message?
Thanks,

Re: Scsi Controller failure

1. Check that the library has termination at the end of the chain. Most likely you do not have the terminator seated well enough.

2. You will not get SCSI bios installed with a library. This message is stating it did not find a hard disk. Just ignore this message.
Enjoy!
