Second Processor Not Available Under Win2K
When my dual P3-500 boots up, the BIOS recognizes the 2nd processor, but after a Windows 2000 Server install, the Task Manager only shows 1 processor. Do I need the SmartStart or other server config software so the OS can see the other processor. Is the BIOS correct when it says it detects the second processor? (I also opened the case and it is there). Thanks!

Re: Second Processor Not Available Under Win2K
You need to go into Device Manager and under COMPUTER, properties of Inuprocessor, then the driver tab and update driver. Then you want to show a list and choose the Multi-processor. IT will either say MPS or ACPI. Choose the same one as the UNIprocessor.
