Second p410i with 512 BBWC controller for DL 380 G6

Unfortunately, we have funds only this year...Therefore, we can invest only once.

Today we want to achive the best performance of future disk system. RAID10 will be the best choice for us, and set up controller for 100% write (for virtualization purposes, as some articles advised). But what about increasing a size of BBWC? In standard box we have 521MB.

Is it possible to install an additional
512 MB BBWC into 410i controller to get 1 GB?

Or upgrade procedure can be done as only "replacement",i.e. I have seen in user's manual - I must replace installed BBWC to the new one with larger size?

Unfortunately, we have no choice in our price on hp box with zero 410i memory, to upgrade it to desirable size...

There is only one cache slot so you can only install one cache module at a time. If you upgrade you have to replace the smaller module with the larger one.
