Seeking hot plug drive cage (new type) for old harddrive
We have 4 hotplug harddrive 1 inch 18.2 GB from a compaq proliant 5500 model. Now we bought a new ML370 server that only supports the new type drive cages for hot pluggable drives (the red/black ones in stead of white/red). Does somebody know if you can buy hot plug carriers/cages without a disk. (because i have the disks and want to build them in the new drive cages/carriers (dont now how they are called exactly :)))
. Tnx in advance !!!
P.S. This thread has been moevd from Disk to ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL). - Hp forum moderator

Re: Seeking hot plug drive cage (new type) for old harddrive
I love seeing all these old threads that bubble up since HP is on some mission to move old posts around.
It reminds us how far we've come... just seeing a question about 18.2 GB drives made me smile. :)
