Sensor 99 is missing. Reading Flags = 40 \r\n

Hi,

I know that this issue has been resolved by updating firmware. What I want to know is what is the effect on my DL 180 G6 server if I have not yet updated my BIOS/firmware?

As per the BIOS Revision History this could be a "possible false sensor warning":
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3884339&swItem=MTX-3317951083244fbfbf5671e272&prodNameId=3884340&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=13&taskId=135&mode=5

If this is false then no effect .. expect unwanted Event logs.
