Hello,
I don't know if this is just an unobstantiated rumour, but:
I heard that there is a way to view and interact with the POST and "local console" processes of a DL140 via a serial interface out of the box without any additional hardware. This would be much like the local serial consoles that are available for the HP-UX and Integrity servers.
This sounds a lot like a RiLO board to me, but if it is possible without additional hardware, this would be especially helpful on our Linux cluster.
Does anyone know if this is tru or how to do it?
Don
