Server Hangs during shutdown

Server Hangs during shutdown

When I try to install service pack 1 or 2 or try to shutdown the Netware 6 server the server hangs. Anybody had the problem? Hardware failure?

Hello,
Please update the system bios and clear NVRAM by going in F10 partition by invoking the advanced features. If you need assistance in doing this please call our tech support by calling 1-800-652-6672.

I'm having the same problem with a DL580. Upgrading firmware, clearing nvram, installing Compaq Support Pack for Netware and replacing SmartArray Controller card also have had no effect on the problem.
