Server Locks up.
Event log shows error from source CQPASM 4209 and 4188 Event ID's The error message is "The Compaq System Management Driver has detected that the system encountered a Non-Maskable Interrupt (MI) prior to this boot. The MI source was: Uncorrectable memory error, socket 1."

From that error, it appears the DIMM in socket one is defective and should be replaced. Because the error is "uncorrectable", it's probably more than a single-bit error; in other words, too much for ECC to correct. The Systems Mgmt driver (sysmgmt.sys) detects such faults and controls ASR, fan failures, excessive temps, etc...

If changing the memory does not work, or the other suggestions provided above, you may have to try replacing the system board in the processor cage. This worked for me earlier this year.
