Server ML310 does not start

my server ml310 does not start, when i have an external DVD-writer (usb, HP 300e) connected. What's the problem?

USB support may not do all you expect. See quickspecs for full ML310 spec

Thank, but i think, that will not be the solution, i need.

Since i have the usb external dvd writer plugged in during booting, the server does not start, if it is not plugged in, the server starts
