Server ML350 G5 auto shut down

Any one hit this kind of problem before. server suddenly shut down automatically. Open event log show ( Driver Arry Acclerator battery Failed) change new battery by HP guy. But system still face the automatically shut down problem next day. When to event log to see found a msg (SQL Serveragent service Failed ) will this cause system to auto restart.

Any feedback, that would be great thank

Which event log are you refering to?
Service failures usually do not cause reboots/shutdowns.

Re: Server ML350 G5 auto shut down

I see thank for the feedback, Have download HPS Utility to do a tesing on the system ( base on HP officer the said that It appears to be a CPU overheating issue which is causing a thermal shutdown )Hope this will work and slove the problem.

Re: Server ML350 G5 auto shut down

A ml350g5 probably has an ilo card.
Log into the ilo with your internet browser and check the itegrated log.
If the system is overheating it will be logged in there. You would also probably find some logs about ASR.
Disabling ASR in the server bios might stop the server from rebooting. This culd be useful in case it's BSOD'ing.
