Server hangs when gigabit ethernet teaming enabled

We have two Proliant ML750 servers running WIN2K Advanced Server, each with two 6132 Gigabit Ethernet NICs connected to a Cisco 5505 switch. We have loaded the latest (as of 15 Jan) teaming driver from the HP website. One server hangs during the boot process - message is "Applying Computer Settings", but the other one comes up just fine. Enabling or disabling of Etherchannel on switch does not affect boot performance of either server.

Each server has different complement of adapter cards. One that works has SCSI, serial, SBS 1553, one ATM, RAID controller and USB cards (in addition to 6132s). One that hangs has SCSI, six ATM, and RAID controller cards (in addition to 6132s).

Problem detected in Nov 2003, and remains consistent to this day. Priority for solving this problem is rising as end of development nears.

We had a similar problem with ml370
check your settings on the cisco switch
put them on 1000 full duplex
on the teaming for each adaptor put 1000 full duplex.

Have you tried Safe Mode (press F8 when you see the boot menu)and Safe Mode with Networking to verify that it is the network hanging the box (ie safe mode should work, safe with network should hang). If you get success you could try disabling some services until you find one that causes the hang.
Also try a logged boot (from the F8 menu again) which should create c:\windows\NTBTLOG.TXT file for you to examine.
When you team, are you using fault tolerant or load balancing option? historically we had problems with load balancing on our Cisco Cat 5000 series....works ok on the Cat 6500's we now have though.
and check for MAC address security on the switch - when you team, the same MAC gets applied to both NIC's
