"Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0x4280CECA, 0x00000000, 0x4280CECA))",Operating System,Critical,1,24.12.2003 02:21,24.12.2003 02:21

"POST Error: A Critical Error occurred prior to this power-up",POST Messages,Caution,1,24.12.2003 02:26,24.12.2003 02:26

What could be the problem?

Short description of the environment:
MS Server 2000, SP4, Outlook2000client, PCanywhere V10.0, Oracle 9.2.01 (planned to install), Remedy ARSystem 5.12, active terminalserver.

Re: Server hangs with message "ASR Detected by System ROM",Automatic Server Recovery,Critical

Hello Ralph,
First thing you want to do is update the system bios to the latest one if you have not done it already.
Also make sure that the firmware of SA5300 is uptodate.
One suggestion, please uninstall PCAnywhere. Reapply the Video drivers(ATI) from our website for ML370G3. After the system comes back up normally then you can reload the PCANY. I did come accross some issues with Symantec and ATI drivers. Otherwise here is the link for debugging the STOP error:

Please let me know the outcome.
