Server keep hanging

I have a prosignia 5/75 server at home
It has 2 scsi 1.2 gig hdd and a sony scsi cdrom
The server is original Compaq
I want to run win NT4 on it with the latest SR6a
When I have installed win NT4 sr 5 then the server hangs after login
Does somebody knows what is going on?

Possible hardware problem ?
Have you tried running diags ?
Have you tried increasing the memory ?

I have run Diagnostic Result was no fault on any case
When I install WinNT 4 and upgrade with SP 3 From the Windows NT4 seperate DC. Then it runs fine with no trouble of any kind. When I upgrade to IE 5.1 and SP4 or SP5 for that matter then it hangs. The Random test on the RAM was all good. HDD are fine no bad sectors.
