Server power removed on DL385G7 and Debian
We recently have got a ProLiant DL385G7 server with new Debian 5.0.6 x64 installation on it. The problem is the system cannot work more than few hours. iLo Event Log said: "Server power removed", nothing in linux logs. ASR is turned off, temperature seems to be good. When BIOS is opened the server can stay online for a day without shutdowns.

Re: Server power removed on DL385G7 and Debian
I have upgraded to all the latest firmware to see if it helps.

Re: Server power removed on DL385G7 and Debian
And so far never found root cause for the problem.
Some servers were very stable for the last 4 years and started having the issues after uninstalling the main application these servers were using (Nortel Call routing CCMS)
Now they are only used as test and basic file servers.
In the past our solution to cure the issue has been to have 3 parts replaced.
The System board.
The Power supply backplane board
And the Power Cable Kit.
