Server reboots every 23 hours

Hi,

we have a problem with an hp ml 350 g6 server. Every 23 hours it seems to hard reset itself for no reason.

With other server brands I often have the option - BIOS, Server Start CD, etc. - to chose a time for rebooting the server but I don't find this option here to disable it.

I would be thankfull for any tips.

Hi.

In order for you to choose a time for rebooting your server you can choose the ASR TIMEOUT option at Server Availability, following this link:

Re: Server reboots every 23 hours

Hi Ludger, please check IML (Integrated Management Log), if ASR is responsible for these restarts, it will be written there ... contrary to what's written above, you cannot set _when_ the server should be rebooted ... ASR will restart the server only if health driver in OS does not reset the hardware counter on the board for some amount of time (by default it's set to 10 minutes ...), that's usually cause by OS hang ...
