Server restarts, RAM/Power
My server was having random restarts, troubleshooted for day or two since I wasn't getting a blue screen and anything in any logs I assumed it wasn't RAM. I removed 2 sticks of RAM it ran for 24 hours. Put the other two in and it ran for 24 hours, then switched them to other slots and it still runs, as long as there is two sticks it works fine. Once I get to four restart.
Must be some kind of power issue with the RAM?
Can someone explain this.

Re: Server restarts, RAM/Power
Dosen't matter, I have checked everything up to this point OS related. This is completly hardware. Just looking for some factors I could consider with RAM and Power.

Re: Server restarts, RAM/Power
Frank,
Memory for your server is setup in BIOS and installation and configuration is covered in here:
http://bizsupport2.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01122783/c01122783.pdf
Start on Page 69.
Then if you still have problems go to page 129 and follow the steps to further isolate the issue.
