Server will not boot, after powering itself off
I have an 1850r. The server powered down with out any warning and came back up after four minutes or so. There was no entry in the event log pointing to the reason for the power down. Within 30mins of coming on, it powered down again (NOT GRACEFULY). This powering down and coming backup happened a few times. I turn it off and now it won?t come back on. Pressing the ON/OFF button seems to make no difference. I tried leaving it unplugged over night ? in case it was over heating, but that didn?t work. The standby (yellow) light is on and that?s all it does.
Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Server will not boot, after powering itself off
I had the same problem and Compaq said it was the Power Backplane
