Server will not boot

When I try and boot my server I get "kernel file is missing" message. Have tried to boot with Win NT 3.51,4.0,WIN 95,Smartstart v 3.0 &4.7 CDs and floppies. The server does not seem to see the drives. Have checked the BIOS boot order and hardware connections. Any suggestions would be helpful.
