Server wont reboot after adding PCIe card

I have a DL360 g4 with the PCIe optional riser kit installed. I have added an HP Spart Array to the PCIe slot and now the server will not boot up. Server starts but does not make it to the OS havng about half way through with just a black screen and a flashing cursor.

Does it boot up if you remove that PCIe card? Maybe the card was not fully inserted in the slot, try reinstalling the card and push it firmly in the slot. Also check around in case you disturbed anything while installing the card.

Do you get to the BIOS screen with or without the card installed? Check if the card is seen in the BIOS. Also maybe the server is trying to boot from the new controller. If you can get in the BIOS check for bootable controller settings etc.
